Programme and lecturers
The 2nd edition of the postgraduate course "Breast Ultrasound for clinicians" takes place between 30th of september and 1st of october 2022. After the 2020 1st edition, when more than 90 medical doctors from Romania did enjoy the introduction in breast ultrasound, we propose the medium level course, in order to increase the knowledge of clinicians in the field of breast ultrasound.

Lecturers of the ”Breast Ultrasound for Clinicians” course
Prof. Dr. Dana Stoian, is a professor at the "Victor Babes" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timisoara, in the discipline of Endocrinology and working at the Timisoara County Emergency Clinical Hospital.
Professor Stoian is the author of 48 ISI indexed articles. She coordinated numerous postgraduate courses, indexed EUROSON, in thyroid, parathyroid and breast pathology and was a lecturer at numerous ultrasound courses, in Romania and abroad.

Radiologist, Past President European Breast Ultrasound Society, promoter of the ductal breast approach. Prof. Amy is a world-renowned promoter of the use of breast ultrasound in the diagnostic and follow up of breast cancer. Aix-en-Provence, France.
Prof. Dr. Hc Serban Costa
Gynaecologist, chief of the Obstetrics Gynaecology Clinic of the” Otto von Guericke” University of Medicine, Magdeburg, Germany. He is a longtime collaborator of the gynaecologists and oncologists from Romania, being a world-renowned surgeon in the field of breast cancer, with major publication in this field.
Radiologist, ”Iuliu Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Dr. Ciurea is one of the major leaders in the field of senology in Romania
