He is also emeritus Professor of the University in Cluj and is one of the first promoters of cutaneous ultrasound in Romania.

Responsible for the Dermatological Ultrasound Unit at Hospital Puerta de Hiero. Dr. Alfageme introduced cutaneous ultrasound in Spain and authored the first EFSUMB consensus on dermatologic ultrasound (Ultraschall in der Medicina Journal, 2020). His extensive publications reflect his deep interest in the field.

Dr. Valentina Dini

Academic teaching activities within the following organizations: University of Pisa, School of Medicine, University of Pisa/University of Modena and Reggio Emilia/University of Ancona, Joint Master in Wound Care, University of Turin, School of Medicine, Master degree students.

Currently she is a researcher at the University of Pisa pursuing her research work at the Dept. of Dermatology and Venereology. Her research interests are tissue repair of chronic wounds and psoriasis. She has designed and conducted clinical trials to evaluate novel therapies for psoriasis. The major part of her activities was focused on setting up her laboratory of non-invasive diagnostic techniques for skin assessment.
